Testimonials "Tom, what can I say...the only thing wrong with your presentation yesterday at Newfield Elementary School was that it was limited to 2 hours. I wish we could have had more time. Your stories, sense of humor, knowledge of the subject matter, and presentation of material were not only informative but "down right entertaining". My wife and I continued to talk about CRUTCHES even after we got home and again this morning. If that isn't a testament to a well presented workshop then I don't know what is. Hopefully we can take what you have given us, see beyond "the red" and find "the green" in future situations."
"Hi Tom. I just wanted to thank you for yesterday's wonderful, inspiring presentation. It was fun to laugh, play and dance with co-workers during a professional development seminar - a first in the 22 years I have been here! And, just so you know, your presence is definitely lantern-like as opposed to flashlight-like; you obviously practice what you teach. The negativity around here can get pretty bad at times - we all needed your presence. Thank you for spend time with us!"
"Tom's Lifestyle and Stress Management workshop for our new teachers and mentors was outstanding. Tom's presentation flowed nicely, allowing the participants to openly share ideas, feelings and past experiences. Tom helped all of us to realize that it's okay to be human; we all experience stress, but it's how we channel that stress that matters. In addition, Tom's meetings with our sixth graders gave them a chance to look at themselves and each other. Through his Positive Youth Development workshops, Tom empowered the students to stand up for one another and what they believe in. Tom helped the children to see just how effective positive peer pressure can be and how their behavior and choices contribute to thier lives' outcomes. His statement, 'You are the eyes and ears of the school,' has made an impact on the sixth graders. They understand that in order to have a safe school you need to have responsible students."
"Tom Bull's session was thoroughly enjoyable! He conveys powerful information in a way that engages you and lets you be part of the session. CRUTCHES is a great model for communicating the keys to personal wellness."
"Mr. Bull's C.R.U.T.C.H.E.S. stress-reduction methods offer meaningful topics for workshop attendees to pause long enough to shed light on what truly matters in living a healthy life. He encourages intergenerational audiences to examine how their unique talents can be applied in all their affairs. Mr. Bull's engaging manner and timely material can be tailored to intimate conversational meetings for small groups of adults, as well as introspective groups of young people. His life experiences provide a relevant springboard for discussions about how we are all connected and the significant impact our individual thoughts and actions have on our various communities."
"After attending Tom's 2-hour Lifestyle and Stress Management presentation, I left wanting more. Tom has a way of knowing how to help people step back and take a look at what really matters in their life. He is easy to relate to, receptive with questions, and has a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and understanding."
"The CRUTCHES presentation I attended gave me a lot to think about, and have continued to think about since it ended. When I sit down and think of all the things in my life that stress me out and how easy it is to not let those things get to me really changes the way I behave. I have found myself observing others, and even my own behaviors and really understanding everything Tom was saying in his presentation. I am very grateful that I was able to attend this presentation because I honestly feel that those few hours I spent listening and talking about life has made me view my own behaviors differently. Great thoughts Tom!"
